Iran, South Africa to Boost Medical Cooperation

CAPE TOWN Iran's Charge d'Affaires to Cape Town Rashid Mokhtari met and conferred on Wednesday with South African health minister Nkosazana C. Dhlamini-Zuma on issues of mutual interests. In the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on mutual cooperation in medical fields. The upcoming visit of the South African minister to the Islamic Republic of Iran at the invitation of her Iranian counterpart was among the topics discussed at the meeting.
Calling as significant medical cooperation with Iran, she said that such cooperation has topped the agenda of Tehran-Cape Town joint medical commission. South Africa is among leading countries who enjoys various advanced medical research centers. (IRNA)
